Constipation is due to feces in the intestines stay too long, resulting in decreased stool frequency, stool stem end, from the difficulties or not. Under normal circumstances, the food through the gastrointestinal tract, after digestion and absorption, and excretion of the remaining residue often takes 24-48 hours, if defecation intervals over 48 hours, can be regarded as constipation. However, the bowel habits of healthy people are different, every 2-3 days defecation 1, without any pain, this situation should not be referred to as constipation.
