E ‘age-old debate of linseed oil vs. fish oil. What is the best, you should take? The questions abound.
I’m going to breakdown the differences between the oils of flax seed oil vs fish so that we do not know exactly what and which one is best for you.
Linseed oil vs. fish oil
The Omega 3 oils are flax seed oil the same as the Omega 3 oils found in fish oil? The answer is a resounding no. While fats in Omega-3 linseed oil and fish oil are related, which have a different chemical composition.
The omega 3 fatty acids
There are three main types of fatty acids. EPA, DHA and ALA. Linseed oil vs. fish oil is as easy as EPA and DHA vs ALA.
The Omega 3 fatty acids in fish oil are EPA and DHA fatty acids and Omega 3 fatty acids of linseed oil fatty acids are ALA.
It ‘difficult for your body to get on the Omega 3 fatty acids ALA and for this reason it is so important that any supplement you take Omega 3 to be derived from fish oil, as a supplement available on this website.
I need both?
There is nothing wrong with either linseed oil and fish oil, if you are taking supplements to get the benefits of Omega 3 touted it probably would be good only by taking supplements of fish oil.
When taking supplements of fish oil, make sure that the supplements are you taking the fish oil pharmaceutical grade. This will ensure that you are always quality, with no supplements of fish oil still left nasty toxins in fish.
In the battle of linseed oil vs. fish oil, both have their advantages, but fish oil definitely wins the battle.
